Queensland Drag Racing Champs

The Queensland Drag Racing Championship Events will be Championship Rounds for QDRC SuperComp, QDRC Comp Bike, Donnelly Blasting Services QDRC Outlaws, Knijff EarthmovingModified, Powercruise Super Sedan, Prime Signs/Speed Elec Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster and Super Gas.

Round 1 - 15th February
Modified, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster, Super Gas

Round 2 - 15th March
QDRC SuperComp, QDRC Comp Bike, QDRC Outlaws, Modified, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster, Super Gas

Round 3 - 17th May
QDRC SuperComp, QDRC Comp Bike, QDRC Outlaws, Modified, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster, Super Gas

Round 4 - 12th July
Modified, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster, Super Gas

Round 5 - 16th August
QDRC SuperComp, QDRC Comp Bike, QDRC Outlaws, Modified, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster, Super Gas

Round 6 - 11th October
Modified, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Junior Dragster, Super Gas

Final - 15th November

Entry - Pre-entries only and will be available on the website until 5pm the Wednesday prior to the event. Entries will not be accepted on the day. All Entrants must hold a current permanent ANDRA Drag Racing Licence.

Entry Fee -

• Group 3 & 4 - $90 which includes driver and 1 crew. (Entry Fees include $15.40 ANDRA Personal Accident Levy)
• QDRC SuperComp - $200 which includes driver and 4 crew. (Entry Fees include $15.40 ANDRA Personal Accident Levy)
• QDRC Comp Bike - $90 which includes driver and 1 crew. (Entry Fees include $15.40 ANDRA Personal Accident Levy)
• QDRC Outlaws - $200 which includes driver and 4 crew. (Entry Fees include $15.40 ANDRA Personal Accident Levy)

Schedule -

February 15th , March 15th , October 11th 
Gates open at 9.00am, 
Qualifying from 1.00pm - 5.00pm. 
Racing from 5pm. QDRC Group 2 & QDRC Outlaws will race 6.00pm, 7:30pm, & 9.00pm

May 17th , July 12th , August 16th 
Gates open at 7.00am, 
Qualifying from 9.00am - 1.00pm. 
Racing from 1.00pm. QDRC Group 2 & QDRC Outlaws will race 2.00pm, 3:30pm, & 5.00pm

ESP/ Audit - ESP and audit will be completed at the back of staging lanes.

Seeding - All brackets will be seeded for each round, please see seeding sheet link at the top of page.

Brackets –

• QDRC SuperComp - to run off a QDRC record (National record + .5) – this will not change during the event and will be updated after the event – more info to come
• QDRC Comp Bike - to run off a QDRC record (National record + .5) – this will not change during the event and will be updated after the event – more info to come
• QDRC Outlaws – includes supercharged, nitrous and turbo vehicles with V8 engines only, running 0 – 7.99 (vehicles running slower than 7.99 may be put in the field if less than 32 but must dial in 7.99 or quicker)
• Modified – as per ANDRA rules
• Super Sedan – as per ANDRA rules
• Modified Bike – as per ANDRA rules
• Super Street – as per ANDRA rules
• Junior Dragster - as per ANDRA rules
• Super Gas - as per ANDRA rules

Racing -

QDRC Group 2 and QDRC Outlaws will run 2 Round Shootout Plus Final, Group 3 & 4 will run 3 Round Shootout Plus Final.  The final round on November 15th will be run as Eliminations.

QDRC Points awarded as below

• Refer QDRC Regulations for minimum number of entrants for points/prizemoney to be awarded

In Two Round & Three Round Shootout Plus Final format:

• Five points for qualifying.
• Five points for each round win.
• Two points for each round lose.

Modified                                  $200 / $100 = $300
Super Sedan                          $200 / $100 = $300
Modified Bike                         $100 / $ 50 = $150
Super Street                          $100 / $ 50 = $150
Junior Dragster                    $100 / $ 50 = $150
Super Gas                              $200 / $100 = $300

Testing - Testing will not be permitted for vehicles that fit in a contested bracket unless licencing.
