explained in simple terms
this exciting new series for bracket racer's (sportsman,
handicap, whatever) has been put together by four tracks to
give racers an alternative to championship drag racing. the
main objective is to introduce racers and crews to the laid
back, friendly atmosphere of regional tracks, along with the
shoot out style of racing, where we race three rounds of
handicap racing. (no first round losers, you get to come back
for each round). every racer is in the show to the finals. so
if you're tired of maybe getting 2/3 qualifiers, loading your
vehicle up after first round, join the series, it's point
based, so it will be a tight finish in all classes. trophies
at each event, prize money and a special trophy for winner and
runner up of each class at series end.
so if you are serious about having a bit of fun,
doing some serious racing (never raced 1/8 mile, it's
only half a track you say, think again, there is no catch up
top end, sharpen up your whole package) grease up your tow
vehicle and travel to some regional drag strips you have never
seen before..
warwick racers
racers entering this event have the choice of the
following: go to willowbank
raceway website and complete all details including
registering as a racer, before pre- nominating. this
is the thing to do if you intend to race in the series
(as you get points for pre- nominating) plus you save $20.00.
entry fee= $80.00 includes 2 crew..
or
racers can enter on the day. if you are only racing at
warwick, you can still earn points in series, still win the
meeting in your class, plus if you are a warwick
dragway financial club member, points for track championship
will be allocated for this event.
